Leaders of the UK Garden Industry met at The London Stock Exchange on Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd October to attend the last of this year’s successful HTA Conference programme. After a series of one-day conferences spanning topics from catering through to the supply chain, the culmination was a two-day event in the City of London where senior managers and owners from retail and supplier businesses listened to keynote presentations from researchers, economists and entrepreneurial consultants.
While sobering financial analysis was delivered, the pound and share prices could literally be seen tumbling on the screens around us. However, the general opinion was that there are still plenty of opportunities for our businesses to move forward positively.
