BESTSELLERS - The UK Garden Centre Charts

Weekending Sunday 29/01/2012

Indoor and Outdoor sales opportunities

There’s a real mix of garden products with increased sales in the GTN Garden Product Bestsellers chart this week. Feed for houseplants and cover pot sales are on the up as are outdoor feeds, tree ties, solar lights and wheelie bin numbers. Does anyone know what the driver is for a sudden increase in wheelie bin number sales?

• Orchid feeds are No 1 and 2 with the Fito drip feeder at the top again and Orchid Myst for Growth technology one place behind.
• Westland Earth Matters Chicken Manure Pellets, 7kg move up to No 3.
• Gardman Heavy Duty Tree Ties, 40 cm, are the highest re-entry at No 18.

Garden Lighting products sales continue to shine. Botanico Topiary Net lights are a new entry at No 50 and there is a re-entry for Gardman Ice Orb Stainless Steel Solar lights at No 26.
